If you enjoy Bob Ross and his unique style of painting, consider coming out to a Bob Ross Painting Class today at the Artrageous Art Gallery in Leesburg from 1-4 pm. Your Bob Ross Certified Instructor will lead you through the painting of a seascape with palm trees and waves or the painting of a seascape with a lighthouse. The cost of $55 per person includes all supplies.
Tonight's the night for the 5th Annual Boo Festival in Tavares from 6-9 pm. They promise an evening of family fun with live music, carnival games, trunk r treat, a hayride, a giant inflatable corn maze, a lumitron stilt walker, and more! Food vendors will be available. Check out the creepy tent, zombie zumba, spooky storytelling, and costume contest for kids at this free event!
Get your costumes ready and come out to the Spooktacular Halloween Dance Party from 7-9 pm at the Anastassia Ballroom & Dance in Leesburg. Enjoy ghoulish brews, treats, a costume content, and dancing for $15 per person including dinner and refreshments.

Get ready for the Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In in Tavares from 9 am - 1 pm. Kids get to paint pumpkins for the big event, the pumpkin drop contest! There will be contests for the fastest seaplane takeoff and for the pumpkin bomb drop most accurate drop. The seaplane flying contests will begin at 11 am at this free event.
Come on out to the Clermont Harvest Festival today from 10 am - 6 pm. Over 150 vendors and food trucks are scheduled. The Kids Zone will feature train rides, a rock climbing wall, a bounce house, face painting, and a costume contest. The costume contest will be held at 4 pm followed by the costume parade at 5 pm, with prizes being awarded at 5:30 pm. Admission is free.
Here's another fun option if you enjoy being creative. The Artrageous Art Gallery in Leesburg is hosting a Stained Glass Workshop from 10 am - 4 pm. For $135, you will learn the techniques of working with stained glass and you may be able to create your own special work of art. All supplies and use of tools will be provided.
Get ready for Barktober Fest at the Lake Square Mall today in Leesburg from 12-3 pm. Dogs will get to prance around in their fun costumes, and there will be a costume contest, vendors, giveaways, and Tim Proctor from The Walking Dead will display his custom artwork.
Today's the day for the Eustis Fall Festival, a free event held between 3-6 pm. Enjoy hay rides, pony rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, bounce houses, games, music, and a costume contest with categories for ages 0-10, 11-17, 18+, and even pets! There will be food vendors as well.
Eustis is also hosting its monthly Classic Car Downtown Cruise-In today from 4-8 pm. Car lovers will get to enjoy viewing classic and exotic cars on the streets of historic downtown Eustis at this free event that takes place on the 4th Saturday of each month.
The Hurricane Grill & Wings in Clermont will be hosting their Halloween Bash & Costume Contest from 4-11 pm. Come dressed in your costume (pre-register online if you want to enter the contest) for your chance to win a $100 gift card, $50 gift card, or a gift basket. There will be hourly raffle drawings, tasty Halloween cocktails, and more.
Adults aged 21 and over are invited to the Halloween Costume Dinner & Dance at the Hurricane Dockside Grill from 6-10 pm. The cost will be whatever you order from the menu and/or from the bar. There will be a costume contest, music, and fun for all!
Boo! Tonight's the night for the Haunted Hike at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont from 7-10 pm. They are promising the terrors of the forest will come out and they are dying to see you! The hike lasts 20 minutes and is for ages 13 and up only. Sturdy shoes and bug spray are recommended and your bravery will be tested as you hike a wooden walkway and a dirt trail. A $4 per person donation is recommended at the hike entrance and it is $5 per carload to enter the park.

The #4 Craft Festival in America, the 35th Annual Mount Dora Craft Fair, will be held from 9 am - 5 pm both days. The historic streets of Mount Dora will come alive with over 400 of the best hand craft exhibitors and artists from around the world. Enjoy entertainment at this free event! You'll find music, beer, wine, and a kid zone.
Grand Oaks Resort in Lady Lake is the site of the Hunt Country Horse Show each day from 9 am - 5 pm. Admission is free and spectators are welcome. You can bring your own comfortable lawn chair and watch hunters and jumpers leap over fences and other obstacles. Food will be available for purchase and the coffee shop will be open.

The Howl-O-Ween Costume Pet Parade takes place today in Clermont beginning at noon. There will be music and games plus vendors at the flea market from 9 am - 1 pm. Prizes will be awarded for the Cutest Pet, Most Unusual, Funniest, Best Team (pet & owner), Alumni, plus the People's Choice (with $1 per vote going to the Animal League. Pets must be registered for the contest at a cost of $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the parade (that is for the People's Choice and one additional category, with extra categories being $5 more each).
