It's hard to believe that it's just one week until Christmas! They weren't kidding when they said the time in between Thanksgiving and Christmas was shortened down - I'm nowhere near ready! I'm sure it'll all come together... it always does. Let's take a break, take a deep breath, and think about what we can do this weekend here in Lake County, Florida!
Friday, December 20, 2019 and Saturday, December 21, 2019:
The Enchanted Forest in Groveland is open from 6:00 - 10:00 pm this weekend at Lake Catherine Blueberries. You'll take a hayride to and from the forest and walking trails and will see a beautiful display of lights, listen to Christmas music, and go on a scavenger hunt. Santa, Rudolph, and Buddy the Elf will be there for photos and kids will be able to write letters to Santa and give him their Christmas lists. Once the scavenger hunt is complete, redeem your prize in Santa's Workshop. You can get crafty while there to create a take-home Christmas souvenir. Tickets are available online for purchase - $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under, or free for children 3 and under. If you purchase tickets there, they will be at an extra $2 per person. They are also doing Catherine's Nightmare Before Christmas for $8 in advance (not recommended for young children or children under age 8; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
Friday, December 20, 2019 - Sunday, December 22, 2019:
